The Katadyn Exstreams are convenient alternatives to pump-style purifiers. No hassle over unpacking, assembling, pumping and seperate containers; you just scoop or fill up the water with your bottle. the 3 component ViruStat® water purification cartridge attached to the cap inside, removes over 99.9% of waterborne cysts and protozoa like Giardia and Cryptosporidium. It also kills over 99.9999% of waterborne viruses, as deteremined under the U.S. EPA microbial water purification protocol. Treats 26 gallons (100 liters) per replacement cartridge. EPA registered.

Travel Companion* by Crystal Clear (TCU10)
Through the years we have had similar units but this is a brand new version with an improved cartridge. The new cartridge allows for more contact time with the Purolite resin to ensure a total kill of microbiological contaminents. Simply slide the rubber adapter onto any faucet outlet and turn on the water. Provides 500 gallons.

COUNTER
  TOP UNITS sit on the counter next to the sink and attach by means
  of a diverter valve to the faucet. The knob on the diverter valve
  pulls to release clear, safe drinking water out of the spigot.
  Each unit purifies 1,500 gallons at 1/2 gallon per minute. Requires
  minimum water pressure of 25 psi. These units require an international

Unit mounts under
  the sink with its chrome faucet mounted in the countertop. Automatic
  device shuts off water every 1,500 gallons to change sediment

  gallon capacity at 1/2 gallon per minute. Includes pipe tapping
  clamp.
